Kuei Named to All-PCAC 1st Team; Five Make Honorable Mention
Six Knights made it on to the all-PCAC team, including freshman Aidan Kuei was named to the all-PCAC first team after leading the conference in strikeouts. Andres Johnson, Jovin King, Chris Marquez, Eli Montgomery, and Daniel Tatis earned honorable mention.

Kuei, a right-handed pitcher from Del Norte High School (San Diego), made 15 appearances, 14 as City's No. 1 starter, and struck out a total of 86 batters, which led the PCAC and was good for 6th-most in the state.
He finished the season with an 8.90 strikeout percentage, a 1.22 WHIP, and a 4.55 ERA while tying for the second-most wins in the conference with six. He also earned a save in his only appearance as a closer, a late-season win over Southwestern.
Andres Johnson was San Diego City's designated hitter all season long and batted .305 with the second-most hits on the team (39). His 21 RBI were tied for the most on the team and his six doubles were second on the Knights.
Jovin King, a right-handed reliever, made 15 appearances and had a 3.05 ERA, which was the best on the team. He finished with a 2-0 record while recording 22 strikeouts in 20.2 total innings to reach a 9.58 strikeout percentage.
Chris Marquez played shortstop for most of the season while also making six appearances on the mound. He led the Knights with a .320 batting average, 48 hits, 13 walks, and seven doubles in 150 at-bats. As a pitcher, Marquez struck out five in 6.1 innings with a 1-0 record.
Eli Montgomery, the Knights' closer, tied for the most saves in the PCAC with five. He threw a total of 27.0 innings and recorded 22 strikouts.
Third baseman Daniel Tatis who also made honorable mention in his freshman season, batted .304 for the season, which was third-best on the team, with 31 hits, and the second-most RBI (20). He hit four doubles, a triple, and two home runs.
