MIKE SCOTT SIGNS WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF SASKATCHEWAN

Mike Scott, who played the 2013-14 season with the SDCC Knights, will be moving north of the border to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to play for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in 2014-15. 

Scott helped the Knights advance to the second round of the 2014 CCCAA regional playoffs while leading the team in scoring average (13.4). He was second on the team in three-point field goals made (53) and second in three-point percentage (40.2). 

Scott was selected to the All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference-South second team. 

He is now the second player in the last three seasons to make the move from San Diego City College to the University of Saskatchewan. Stephon Lamar, who played at SDCC during the 2011-12 season, just finished his second season with the Huskies last Spring.
