SIX KNIGHTS SELECTED TO ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
The San Diego City College men's basketball team is coming off its second consecutive 20-win season and has also qualified for the California Community College Athletic Association playoffs for a second straight year. Because of their success as a team in 2014-15, six Knights, including all five starters, have been selected to the All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference South team.

Sophomore Caleb Singleton, who was named conference Co-Most Valuable Player during his freshman year, was selected to the All-PCAC South first team along with sophomores Chris Burton and Christian Jones, who both made the All-PCAC South second team in 2013-14.
Sophomores Carl Flamer and Stacey Lambert were named to the All-PCAC South second team, while freshman Marcus Brumsey was given honorable mention.
Singleton finished second in the state in three-point field goals made with 88 while shooting 41.9 percent from beyond the arc. In his two seasons with the Knights, Singleton has buried a total of 200 three-pointers. He started all 29 games and averaged 12.8 points and 5.5 rebounds, which were third and second on the team, respectively. Singleton led the Knights in free throw shooting percentage (80.0 percent)
Burton led the Knights in scoring (16.1 ppg), was 16th in the state in field goal percentage (59.5), and was third on the team in rebounding (5.3 rpg). He scored in double figures in 23 of the 29 games that he started and scored 20 or more points seven times. Burton had a season-high 39 points in a 119-79 home win over Barstow on November 14.
Jones was seventh in the state in total assists with 156 and fifth in the state in total steals with 69. He was second on the team in scoring with 13.0 points per game, first in assists (5.4) and first in steals (2.4). Jones averaged 4.0 rebounds per game, which was fourth on the Knights. He recorded 11 assists three different times this season and scored in double figures in 20 of the 29 games he started with a season-high 30 points in an 86-82 win over College of the Desert on December 5.
Flamer averaged 6.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 29 games. He was second on the Knights in free throw percentage (75.6).
Lambert led the team in rebounding (6.2 rpg) and was fourth in scoring (7.7 ppg). He had a season-high 15 rebounds in a win over Mesa on February 13.
Brumsey was a spark off the bench all season for the Knights. He averaged 7.5 points while shooting 52.0 percent from the floor and brought down 2.1 rebounds per game. He scored in double figures seven times and had a season-high 18 points on November 28.
The Knights will host West Los Angeles on Friday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the second round of the CCCAA Southern California Regional playoffs.
