WILSON'S 18 POINTS LEADS KNIGHTS TO 82-51 WIN OVER GROSSMONT
Sophomore guard Romario Wilson led the Knights with 18 points off the bench in an 82-51 blowout home win over Grossmont on Wednesday night to improve to 18-5 overall and 2-0 in the PCAC South.

The Knights, who have won four straight and six of the last seven games, have left off where they were last year when they swept through their conference with an 8-0 record and an average win margin of 30.1 points per game.
After two PCAC South games so far this season, the Knights have won both games against Cuyamaca and Grossmont by an average of 25 points.
The Knights struggled in the first half against Grossmont as they shot only 40 percent and committed 10 turnovers, but they held the Griffins to 34.5 percent shooting and closed the half with an 11-3 run to go ahead 33-22.
Wilson scored nine points during that run, seven of which came from the free throw line.
City opened the second half on a 10-2 run to take a 43-24 lead and never looked back. The Knights pulled away and built their lead to as many as 31 points late in the game.
The Knights held Grossmont to 32 percent shooting, while making 48.3 percent of their own shots.
City forced Grossmont into 21 turnovers and outrebounded the Griffins, 46-29.
Robert Taylor was the only starter to score in double figures with 11 points.He also had five rebounds and three steals.
Robert McCoy added 10 points off the bench.
Up next for the Knights will be a road game at Southwestern on Friday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. City's next home game will be against Imperial Valley on Wednesday, January 25 at 5:00 p.m. That will be the start of a three-game home stand.
