No. 19 Knights to Play No. 14 Fullerton in 1st Round Playoff

San Diego City's 9-year playoff drought is over now that the Knights have earned the No. 19 seed in the 3C2A Southern California regional playoffs. They will play at No. 14 Fullerton in the first round on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. 

The winner will advance to face the defending state champion No. 3 Cuyamaca on Saturday, Nov. 22.

San Diego City last made the postseason in 2016 when they made it to the second round. The Knights went 11-6-5 overall in 2025 which equals their win total in 2016 (11-6-6). 

City won its last three conference games to finish 7-5-2 in the PCAC, which was good for fourth place behind Cuyamaca, No. 13 MiraCosta, and No. 18 Palomar, all who made the playoffs as well.

The PCAC was one of only two conferences in Southern California to get four teams into the postseason tournament. 

General admission for Wednesday's first round game at Fullerton is $12. Admission for students with ID, staff, faculty, seniors (60 and over), and children under 12 is $8
