No. 6 Knights to play No. 2 Glendale in 1st Round Playoff
The Knights are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2022 as the No. 6 seed and will travel north to play at No. 2 Glendale on Tuesday, April 8 at 2 p.m. in a Southern California first round regional. This is the fifth time under head coach Brandon Lupian that the Knights have reached the postseason.

The Knights, who won the IEAC championship by going an undefeated 10-0, will head into Tuesday's playoff riding a 5-match win streak. They have also win seven of their last eight matches with the only loss during that stretch coming against Augustana University, a Division II team.
San Diego City and Glendale both finished with the same 13-3 overall record. The winner will advance to play either No. 3 Riverside or No. 8 Bakersfield on April 15.
These teams faced each other in the first round of the 2019 playoffs with the Knights edging out a 5-4 home win.
Six Knights qualified for the state singles championships, including Hunter Lynch, Thomas Lynch, Julian Mackinnon, Abel Martinez, Bernardo Martinez, and David Witter.
Two set of doubles partners also qualified for the state doubles championships, including the Lynch brothers and the Abel Martinez/Mackinnon duo.
The 3C2A state championships will be held from April 24-27 at the Ojai Valley Tennis Club.
