Fonti, Turner Named to All-PCAC 2nd Team

Freshman Nicole Fonti and sophomore Savannah Turner were both named to the All-PCAC second team, while five other Knights earned all-conference honorable mention, including Dakota Chazaro, Savannah Ganzler, Rylee Leon, Avery Mah, and Francesca Tapia.

City Wins 2nd Straight, 8-4, Over Grossmont

The Knights scored a total of five runs in the 5th and 6th innings to turn a 4-3 deficit into an 8-4 victory over Grossmont on sophomore day. Rylee Leon had two hits with an RBI and pitched a complete game to help City earn its second consecutive win.

City Hangs On to Defeat IVC

San Diego City won both games of a doubleheader against Rio Hondo on Saturday and followed that up with a 5-4 home win over Imperial Valley on Tuesday to extend the win streak to three.

Knights Sweep Home-Opening Doubleheader

The Knights won both games of a home-opening doubleheader over Los Angeles Valley, 9-4 and 12-7, with pitcher Rylee Leon striking out six batters in 10 total innings and earning a win in the first game and a save in the second.

Fourteen Recruits Added to 2026 Roster

San Diego City added 14 new recruits to their 2026 roster which also includes seven returning sophomores, two of which earned all-PCAC honorable mention (Nikki Rocha and Savannah Turner).

Eight Selected to All-PCAC Team

Eight Knights received all-PCAC honors following the 2025 season, including sophomore Shyann Beddow who was named to the first team and freshman Sydney Letzing who was selected to the second team. Sophomores Hadley Phipps, Mykala Mercado, and Cali De La Rosa earned honorable mention as did freshmen Nikki Rocha, Madison Stephensen, and Savannah Turner.

City Splits Doubleheader on Sophomore Day

San Diego City played its final home doubleheader of the season on Tuesday against Grossmont and dropped the first game, 2-1, but ended sophomore day with a 10-9 victory in game two.

San Diego City split a doubleheader against Southwestern, winning the first game 9-0, but dropping the second, 12-6, despite a late push. Savannah Turner and Shyann Beddow each hit 3-run home runs in the win and Hadley Phipps pitched a complete game shutout.

Knights, Phipps Get 2 Wins over Victor Valley

San Diego City swept Saturday's doubleheader against Victor Valley, winning the first game 10-4 and the second 2-0 with pitcher Hadley Phipps earning two victories allowing only one run in 8.2 total innings.

City Rallies With 4-Run 5th to Beat Riverside

San Diego City played its first true road game of the season at Riverside on Wednesday and put together a 4-run 5th inning to turn a 4-1 deficit into a 7-5 victory.

Two Knights that played their freshman seasons at San Diego City in 2024 have moved on and signed with 4-year universities, including centerfielder Ari Mallari and pitcher Kylie Perkins.

Knights Welcome 11 Freshmen to the 2025 Team

Eleven incoming freshman have joined the San Diego City softball team for the upcoming 2025 season which is set to begin in late January. These new additions join 10 returning sophomores, which will give the Knights much-needed depth at every position.

The Pacific Coast Athletic Conference announced its all-conference team and three Knights were selected, including Ari Mallari (second team), Shyann Beddow (honorable mention) and Cadence Krisell (honorable mention).

Krisell With 8 Strikeouts in Win Over Golden West

Relief pitcher Cadence Krisell allowed only one hit with eight strikeouts in the final five innings to help the Knights get an 8-4 road win at Golden West on Monday with Cali De La Rosa and Madison Dagnino combining for seven hits.

Phipps Throws Complete Game Shutout in Win Over Grossmont

The Knights earned their first shutout win of the season, 3-0 over Grossmont, on Wednesday with pitcher Hadley Phipps throwing her first complete game. It was the Knights' first PCAC win of the season as they avenged a 1-0 loss to Grossmont in their previous meeting on March 8.

Mallari With 7 RBI in Two Wins Over VVC

Ari Mallari drove in a total of seven runs in Wednesday's doubleheader to help the Knights get 9-1 and 9-2 wins over Victor Valley. The Knights improved to 7-9 overall and have now swept three of the four doubleheaders they have played.
