City Pulls Away in 4th; Blake Named to All-Tourney Team
San Diego City outscored Palo Verde 27-6 in the fourth quarter to turn a six-point lead into a 27-point victory as the Knights wrapped up the weekend on a high note. Sophomore Dahlia Blake scored eight of her 14 points in the fourth period and finished with six rebounds, three assists, five steals, and was selected to the Knights Invitational all-tournament team.

Aamori Daniels put in 10 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth and also brought down nine rebounds, three assists, four steals, and three blocks.
Elissa St. Julien recorded her first double-double of the season after scoring 16 points and grabbing a career-high 17 rebounds to go with five assists and five steals.
The Knights came into Saturday's game against Palo Verde having lost their first two games of their invitational. They suffered a 68-56 loss to College of the Desert on Thursday and then fell to Reedley, 83-66, on Friday.
The Knights were ready to turn things around on Saturday and they did after pulling away from Palo Verde.
San Diego City struggled offensively and only held a 38-36 lead in the final minute of the third quarter, but the Knights scored the final four points of the period and then opened the fourth quarter with 13 straight points to turn a tight game into a blowout.
The Knights were up by 21 points midway through the 4th after going on 23-2 run that put them in the driver's seat the rest of the way.
City will now go into the Thanksgiving break with a 3-4 record on the season and will be back home for back-to-back home games on Dec. 4 and 5.
