City Extends Win Streak to 3 With Home Wins

The Knights started the week with three sophomores recording a double-double in Wednesday's 80-50 blowout win over Barstow. Aamori Daniels tallied 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Blake scored 12 points to go with 13 rebounds, three assists, and four steals.
Elissa St. Julien narrowly missed a triple-double with 14 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds.
Another sophomore, Maddox Weisskopf, led the team in scoring with 18 points.
The Knights had a season-low 11 turnovers while forcing Barstow into 24 turnovers.
They then carried the momentum of that win over to Friday's 15-point victory over San Bernardino Valley.
San Diego City outscored SBVC 22-9 in the second quarter with Blake scoring 14 of her career-high 35 points. At one point during that quarter, Blake put in 12 consecutive points in the midst of an 18-5 Knights run that helped give them a 15-point halftime lead.
The Knights went ahead by as many as 25 midway through the third quarter, but allowed their opponents to make it interesting late in the fourth quarter when SBVC pulled within 11 with 1:24 remaining.
Blake, however, scored on three consecutive possessions to put the game away.
Elissa St. Julien recorded a career-high in points with 21 to go with nine rebounds and five assists. Daniels secured her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
