3-Peat Champs Finish PCAC Undefeated...Again!
The Knights clinched their third consecutive PCAC championship last week, and today, they completed a second straight undefeated season by defeating College of the Desert, 8-1. During this three-peat run, the Knights have won 23 conference matches in a row and have gone 25-1 since the start of the 2024 PCAC season.

San Diego City finished the regular season with a 14-6 overall record and a 10-0 mark in PCAC play. The Knights have qualified for the postseason for the third consecutive year and for the fourth time under head coach Jami Yonekura-Jones' tenure.
They will play a first-round Southern California regional on April 7 with Opponent and Site yet to be determined.
The Knights, who also beat Desert 8-1 on March 10, came ready to for their final conference road match of the season.
Angie Palmerin and Betty Gezahegne won the No. 1 doubles match 8-1, as did Thi Dang and Mariafernanda Martinez Mosqueda in No. 3 doubles.
Courtney McArthur and Ashley Yim earned an 8-2 win in the No. 2 doubles match.
Gezahegne then won her No. 2 singles match over Desert's Lindsey Lopez 6-0, 6-0.
McArthur defeated Sofia Campbell 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 3 spot, and Jimena Cortes also blanked Desert's Liliana Ruiz 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 6 match.
Yim only dropped on game in her 6-0, 6-1 victory over Sofia Torres in the No. 4 spot, while Dang got past Mia Castillo 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 5 position.
Palmerin, in the No. 1 match, had to retire due to injury.
The Knights will now prepare for the PCAC singles and doubles championship on April 2-3 at Southwestern College before starting the team playoff on April 7.
