The San Diego City College men's basketball team has advanced to the CCCAA state championship quarterfinals for the first time since 2009 after a 113-81 rout of Riverside on Saturday night. Sophomore point guard Darien McClain dropped a career-high 39 points on 13-of-18 shooting, including 8-of-10 on 3-pointers, to lead City to its 14th consecutive victory.

MCCLAIN SCORES 26 IN TITLE GAME AS KNIGHTS CLAIM GROSSMONT TOURNEY CHAMPIONSHIP

The SDCC men's basketball team continued its hot start to the 2016-17 campaign with a 77-58 win over Grossmont on Sunday afternoon to claim the 45th Annual Grossmont College Invitational championship.

KNIGHTS TAKE 2ND PLACE AT KNIGHTS INVITATIONAL

The San Diego City College men's basketball team opened the 2016-17 season at home with the 11th annual Knights Invitational tournament and got past Barstow on Friday and Citrus on Saturday before falling to Fullerton in the championship game on Sunday night.

KNIGHTS WIN PALOMAR TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP: WILBOURN NAMED MVP

The SDCC men's basketball team continued its hot start to the season by winning all three games at the Palomar College Thanksgiving Tournament to claim the championship. Sophomore center Alex Wilbourn was named tournament Most Valuable Player and Wonder Smith was selected to the all-tournament team along with Wilbourn.
