The Knights held a 39-38 halftime lead over San Francisco in the state championship game on Sunday, but the Rams controlled the second half and went on to snap the Knights' 26-game win streak with an 82-72 victory to claim the 2018 state title.
Robert McCoy had 19 points, six rebounds, and three blocks in the Knights' first loss since November 19. Robert Taylor added 13 points and five rebounds, while Ethan Esposito scored six points with five rebounds and two steals.
McCoy and Esposito were named to the all-tournament team.
