Knights Win 28th Straight Over Cuyamaca
San Diego City extended its win streak to 28 over Cuyamaca by pulling out an 85-77 home win on Friday night with Dylan Griffin leading the way offensively with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting. The Knights gained sole possession of first place in the PCAC as the only undefeated (4-0) team remaining.

Cyprian Hyde went 6-of-9 from the floor for 14 points and also brought down a game-high nine rebounds.
Junior Camacho provided a much-needed lift off the bench with 17 points and five rebounds.
The Knights, who had their second-best shooting performance of the season after making 60.4% of their attempts against Cuyamaca, shot an incredible 70.8% in the first half and looked as though they were going to take full control of the game after going up by 11, but Cuyamaca got within seven by halftime to stay in it.
Cuyamaca shaved City's lead down to four with 8:19 left in the game, but the Knights answered with seven straight points to push their lead back up to 11.
The Coyotes, who shot 55.2% in the second half, got within four once again with 1:39 remaining, but the Knights held them to only two points the rest of the way while forcing two turnovers in the final minute.
The Knights will be away at Miramar on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. and will be back at Harry West Gym against MiraCosta on Jan. 16 at 5 p.m.
