The Knights have reached the state championship game for the second consecutive year by defeating Fresno City, 90-82, in Saturday night's semifinal with five players scoring in double figures, including freshman Ethan Esposito who led the team with 18 points. Sophomore Wonder Smith had 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists in the victory.

The Knights are headed to the sweet sixteen for the second straight year after getting past Long Beach, 116-97, in the second round of the CCCAA tournament. Ethan Esposito scored a career-high 28 points to go along with a game-high 10 rebounds, while Wonder Smith poured in 27 points.

The San Diego City College men’s basketball team will begin the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference South season at home on Friday, January 12 at 6 p.m. against Cuyamaca College at Harry West Gymnasium.

9TH STRAIGHT WIN AND 4TH TOURNEY TITLE FOR KNIGHTS

The Knights came away with another piece of hardware on Saturday night after an 84-76 win over College of the Canyons that earned them the Bill Brummel Classic (Saddleback College) championship for the first time since 2012. Wonder Smith was named tournament MVP for the third time this season and Robert McCoy was selected to the all-tournament team.

KNIGHTS ROUT GROSSMONT TO WIN 3RD TOURNEY CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE SEASON

The Knights have made it to the title game of all five tournaments they've played in this season and they came away with their third championship on Sunday with a 96-67 victory over Grossmont to claim the Grossmont College Tournament crown for the second straight year.

KNIGHTS WIN PALOMAR THANKSGIVING TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2ND STRAIGHT YEAR

The Knights captured their second tournament championship of the season by winning all three games at the Palomar CollegeThanksgiving Tournament, including a 92-79 triumph over Miramar in the championship game on Sunday. Wonder Smith was named tournament MVP and Robert Taylor was selected to the all-tournament team.

KNIGHTS TAKE 2ND AT CITRUS TOURNEY

The Knights were back in action this weekend at the Citrus College tournament and made it to their third consecutive championship game, but fell in the closing seconds Citrus, 77-75. Ethan Esposito scored a team-high 15 points to go with seven rebounds. Robert McCoy added 14 points and five boards.

The Knights have started off the 2017-18 season with three straight victories at their own Knights Invitational to claim the tournament championship for the first time since 2014. Wonder Smith led the charge in the championship game with 23 points to help the Knights get past Fullerton, 70-63.
