San Diego City's postseason run and 16-game win streak boh ended with a 78-67 loss to No. 1 San Francisco in the quarterfinals of the 3C2A state championship tournament.

The No. 5-seed Knights are headed to the 3C2A state championship quarterfinals for the fifth time in the Mitch Charlens era after getting past No. 4 seed Ventura College, 67-59, for their 16th straight win. Freshman Dylan Griffin led the way with game-highs in points (20) and rebounds (13), while sophomore Junior Camacho added 18 points, four rebounds, and four assists to help the Knights reach the elite eight for the second time in three years.

Knights March Into Sweet Sixteen!!

The No. 5 seeded Knights (24-5) are moving on to the sweet sixteen for the fifth time in the last six seasons after a wire-to-wire 79-70 home victory over No. 12 Saddleback (15-15) with Dylan Griffin and Junior Camacho each posting 20-point double-doubles.

Two days after completing an undefeated (16-0) conference season to win their third straight PCAC championship, the Knights received the 5-seed and a first-round bye in the 3C2A Southern California regional tournament. They will host a second round game at Harry West Gym on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. against the winner of the first round matchup between No. 22 Chaffey and No. 12 Saddleback.

City also had six players selected the all-conference team including Griffin and Junior Camacho who made the All-PCAC first team. Micah Brickner and Matin Madadkar were named to the All-PCAC second team, while Pharaoh Amadi and Cyprian Hyde earned honorable mention. 

Luke Hecht provided nine points off the bench in the win over Southwestern.
Knights Win 25th Straight in PCAC Play!

The 2025-26 PCAC champion Knights moved one step closer to completing an undefeated conference season after dispatching Southwestern, 83-66, on sophomore night to improve to 15-0 with one game left. Dylan Griffin led the way with 22 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and four blocks to help his team win its 13th straight.

THREE-PEAT!!! Knights Clinch PCAC Title

The San Diego City College Knights clinched their third straight PCAC championship by getting an 81-71 home victory over Miramar coupled with Grossmont's upset win over second place Southwestern. The Knights remained undefeated at 13-0 in conference play and have a four-game lead over both Southwestern and Palomar with only three games left.

On a night when head coach Mitch Charlens was honored for reaching his 400th victory earlier this season, the Knights made sure to keep the celebratory mood by blowing out Imperial Valley 108-70, their ninth straight win to remain an undefeated 11-0 in PCAC play.

Six of the seven Knights who played in Wednesday night's 90-60 home victory over Mesa scored in double figures, including Dylan Griffin who narrowly missed out on a triple-double with 20 points, 16 rebounds, and eight assists as the Knights won their 12th straight over the Olympians.

With only seven players available on Friday night, San Diego City gutted out a 94-86 home victory over Palomar to stay undefeated (8-0) at the midway point of PCAC play.

The Pacific Coast Athletic Conference has selected freshman Dylan Griffin as an Athlete of the Month for December.

San Diego City pulled away with a 25-6 run in the final eight minutes to turn a tie game into an 89-70 home victory over MiraCosta on Friday night. Freshman Dylan Griffin tied a career-high with 31 points on 12-of-16 shooting and brought down a career-high 14 rebounds to help the Knights remain an undefeated 6-0 in PCAC play.

Knights Win 28th Straight Over Cuyamaca

San Diego City extended its win streak to 28 over Cuyamaca by pulling out an 85-77 home win on Friday night with Dylan Griffin leading the way offensively with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting. The Knights gained sole possession of first place in the PCAC as the only undefeated (4-0) team remaining.

The Knights won the last two PCAC championships and started the 2025-26 conference season with a resounding 104-77 home victory over Grossmont. Freshman Dylan Griffin recorded his second double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds to help City win it's 20th straight over Grossmont.

San Diego City claimed the Grossmont tournament championship for the 7th time in the last nine seasons after defeating Palomar, 75-68, in Sunday's title game. Freshman Dylan Griffin was named tournament MVP and sophomore Junior Camacho joined Griffin on the all-tournament team.
